Abstract
Giving a second life to De Knip building in Amsterdam with a more altruistic approach. Going from a monofunctional office area to a nature-inclusive lively neighborhood. Creating a building that not only supports its own ecosystem, but at the same time forms a valueable addition to the urban quality of the neighborhood. My thematic research is more about the relationship between the urban heat island effect and architecture. And how architecture can contribute to a better urban quality.
