Integrated design is a frequently used term in academics and practice. However, a common ground in the application of terminology, methodology, and description of insights from practice with respect to integrated design is lacking. Therefore, this dissertation describes a framework for integrated design that can be used as a platform for discussion and development. The framework is the result of the exploratory research into the what, why, and how of integrated design, and can be used by anyone who has to deal with integrated design and would like to have more grip on this concept.@en
