Abstract
The paper discusses the implementation of a quasi-geostationary MIMO Synthetic Aperture Radar swarm, also defined as ARGOS in [1]. Such system combines the all-time-all-weather image capability of a SAR, with the resolution enhance, robustness and scalability of a swarm and the continuous observation provide by the geostationary orbit. Two C-band concepts are analyzed in details that differ for the image time and azimuth resolution.
